Vina Zorzal, Navarra

Viña Zorzal is a family project between three brothers: Xabi, Iñaki and Mikel Sanz, who have oenology in their blood. His grandfather and father made wines at Bodega Correlana, which was very successful in the region. However, the new generation did something totally different. The brothers decided to focus on wines from individual plots, taking advantage of the number of old vineyards in the hills around Fitero - many that are centuries old. In the vineyards, agriculture is the most important thing and they use organic and biodynamic techniques, while in the winery they only use indigenous yeasts with a mixture of steel tanks and cement. Viña Zorzal is a true gem. In a sea of ​​high-production wines, they are focused on high-quality wines available to everyone.
