Quinta Milu, Ribera del Duero

Quinta Milú is located in the north of Ribera del Duero, in Burgos. The highest part of Ribera at about 850m above sea level. The winemaker and viticulturist Germán R. Blanco - our tireless "rockstar" winemaker - makes the wines in an elegant and fresh style. Germán has several projects in Ribera, Rioja and Bierzo and while these regions are quite different, there is a common thread that his wines have: all his positive and genuine energy is reflected in his wines that speak honestly of their terroir.

At Quinta Milú, in the small town of La Aguilera in Burgos, they grow Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) and make wines using traditional methods - micro winemaking with tanks adapted to the soil of each plot (open barrels, amphorae, oak vats). They use winery traditions like foot stomping, very little intervention in the winery, and only grow vineyards in a traditional and sustainable way.

Vineyards ninety years old and older that are used for the wine "Viñas Viejas."
