Sierra de Toloño, Rioja Alavesa

Winemaker Sandra Bravo works in some of the highest and oldest vineyards in Rioja Alavesa. After several years making wines in Bordeaux, Tuscany, New Zealand, California and Priorat, she returned home to Rioja to make these wonderful wines that represent the elegance of Rioja. Her winery is located in Villabuena de Alava where she makes wines with stainless steel, amphorae and old oak. She always works in Alavesa with biodynamic or organic vineyards. Like the best producers in the world, these wines are born in the vineyard. Sandra focuses intensely on the quality and health of her vineyards and intervenes as little as possible in the winery so that the wines are lively and bright in the bottle.
