The 2022 Milu harvest was excellent. The year had perfect conditions in La Aguilera to ripen well and maintain good acidity. This wine is the winemaker's house wine and I imagine it is from many other houses too! 100% Tempranillo from vineyards between 870-910m in the town of La Aguilera with an average age of 56 years. The harvest is manual with strict selection in the vineyard of several passes so that only the grapes in the best condition enter the winery. After fermenting, it spends five months in French oak. It has aromas of red fruits with balsamic and spice notes. Very easy to drink with soft, ripe tannins and fresh, concentrated fruit. This wine is the best value from Ribera de Duero!
